Last year at the HP Lovecraft Film Festival I met Jerad Walters, the editor of Centipede Press. Among the books he was selling was a massive tome of Lovecraft inspired art, entitled A Lovecraft Retrospective. A month later he sent me three book blocks with the understanding that I would sculpt covers for them to create one of a kind artworks. A year later I have completed the first.
The first thing I had to do was get the book bound. I ended up having it bound by Joel Radcliffe at ARS OBSCURA, who did a fantastic job.
An entire five pound kit of Magic Sculpt and fifty hours of sculpting and painting later, the piece was (almost) finished... I still have some water damage to repair on the inside and a couple spots to touch up...
The book is massive. Roughly 13 × 17 inch and a good 4 inches thick. It must weigh an excess of 20 pounds.

A Lovecraft book? Fits him. It looks monstrous and alive and curiously lovely...
